Biography

John Terry is a partner at Morse Bratt Andrews & Terry LLP.

John grew up in California where he attended California State University - Bakersfield, and earned a degree in Communications (Journalism), with a minor in Spanish. He then attended Law School at Western Michigan University - Cooley Law School, in Lansing, MI, where graduated cum laude. In law school, John was a member of Cooley Law Review, a volunteer advocate for Lansing Teen Court, and an intern at the Eaton County (MI) Prosecuting Attorney's Office - Economic Crimes Unit. Additionally, during his last term of law school, he did a satellite externship at the Clark County (WA) Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

As an attorney, John has focused his practice primarily on criminal defense and has been in practice since 2009. He is admitted to practice law in Washington State, Oregon State, US District Court of Western Washington, and US District Court of Oregon.

When John is not practicing law, he enjoys music, the outdoors, biking, coaching youth sports, and spending time with friends and family.
